URA coach expects tough battle as match is moved
Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) coach Moses Basena says he expects Zanaco to run rings round his team when the two sides clash tomorrow (Saturday) in the Orange CAF Champions League preliminary round return match in Lusaka.
Basena said in a phone interview with Cafonline.com that although he expects the home side to throw everything at them, they are very aware how to handle and respond. The Ugandan league champions won the first leg 1-0 with the late goal coming through skipper Manko Kaweesa.
“We expect them to have a very good display...I am sure they will came all over my team. We must play extremely well and at the same time we have to be very cautious, especially at the back,” he said.
The hosts have however moved the match across town to Nkoloma stadium from Sunset stadium because of reportedly heavy rains that affected the playing surface.
Zanaco secretary Jordan Maliti said the change has been necessitated because of the water, as a result of heavy rains, that has been flowing into Sunset from the nearby University of Zambia (Unza) Great East Road Campus.
"We have moved the game to Nkoloma because the playing surface there is in a better condition than ours,” he said.
