Obafemi Martins
Cometh the hour, cometh the man, as the saying goes and Nigerian Obafemi Martins, who has not had a great time of late for either club or country, came good when it really mattered to net a brace against Kenya and send his side to the World Cup finals in South Africa. He made a string of marvelous saves to keep his side in the hunt, showing his experience and Big Match Temperament. Without his brilliance, Egypt would not have had a prayer.
Achille Webo
The Cameroon star was brilliant as his side got the 2-0 win they needed in Fes to ensure their place at the 2010 World Cup finals. Apart from scoring the first goal which settled the Indomitable Lions' nerves, his all-round contribution was excellent and he was a constant thorn in the side of the Moroccans.
Gervinho
Cote d'Ivoire had already booked their place at the 2010 World Cup by the time they played Guinea on Saturday, but coach Vahid Halilhodžić will have wanted to keep the winning feeling going. And his Brazilian-sounding Lille star helped him do just that with an excellent brace to leave the Guinea floundering at the bottom of Group E and out of contention for a place at the Nations Cup in Angola next year.

على الدولي المصري عماد متعب بعد إنتهاء المباراة الفاصلة بين المنتخبين
المصري والجزائري على البطاقه المؤهلة لكأس العالم فى جنوب إفريقيا.

لمراسل korabia.com فإن الجماهير الجزائرية واصلت تصرفاتها الخارجة عندما
إعتدت على متعب والذى توجه من الملعب إلى غرفه خلع الملابس ولم يتوقف
الأمر عند هذا الحد بل جاوزه إلى سيل من الألفاظ النابيه للاعب.

ولم
تهدأ الأمور من جانب الجماهير الخضراء إلا بعد تدخل أمن ملعب المريخ فى
محاولة لإنهاء هذه الهجمات من الجانب الجزائري وذلك خوفاً من تصعيد
الأمور.

ومن جانبه لم يكن متعب عند حسن ظن الجماهير المصريه فى
هذه المباراة التى إنتهت بفوز الفريق الجزائري عن طريق هدف للمدافع عنتر
