12’ – The Stallions have Habib Bamogo down with an injury after a late tackle from Samuel Inkoom.

14’ – It’s been a good opening to this match. Both teams looks very keen to play positive football and we could be in for a cracker…

15’ – Paul Koulibaly comes across to cut out a diagonal ball from the Ghanaians. Good defending.

16’ – Yellow card: Mamadou Tall chops down Asamoah Gyan and he’s the second man to pick up a caution.

17’ – The Black Stars play a hopeful ball into the box from a free kick but again Burkina Faso defend with some ease.

18’ – Terrific passing movement from the Stallions but Jonathan Pitroipa is blocked off and Richard Kingson collects.

19’ – Dede Ayew fouls Mahamadou Kere and Burkina Faso have a free kick just inside the Ghana half.

20’ – Another free kick to the Stallions after another silly foul by Dede Ayew. This one is in a promising position…

21’ – Madi Panandetiguiri curls the ball into the box but he can’t find the head of a teammate.

22’ – Yet another free kick for Burkina Faso but their attempt to work it short doesn’t quite bring the desired results.

23’ – This has been a good spell of pressure for the Stallions, who have put Ghana on the back foot in the last few minutes.

24’ – Pitroipa looks to chip a good ball over for Yssouf Kone but he puts too much on it and the striker can’t quite fashion a shooting chance.
